CPD on Environmental Sampling, in association with Environmental Archaeology in Ireland

Join us on 25 April at the Ardmore Annex, University College Dublin from 9.30 to 4 for a CPD on Environmental Sampling, in association with Environmental Archaeology in Ireland!

The aim of this one-day CPD is to highlight the importance of recovering and studying environmental remains from Irish archaeological sites and the contribution that such studies can make to our understanding of the interaction with and the impact on the environment of past peoples.

The course will introduce participants to a range of environmental material via introductory presentations and ‘hands on’ laboratory practical sessions.

The talks will put in place some basic introductory information. The emphasis will be on participation from attendees.
