We would like to welcome Dr Ros Ó Maoldúin who has taken up the position of acting Chair of the Institute.
Ros has been a full member of the Institute for over 20 years and previously served as Membership Secretary and Conference Organiser. With vast experience, he is currently Senior Archaeologist with Archaeological Management Solutions – AMS where he is overseeing the write-up of the archaeological findings from the N5 Ballaghderreen to Scramoge Road Project and managing several state services contracts.

Ros will stand as Acting Chair until our next election. Our thanks to Steve Davis and outgoing Chair, James Kyle, for their work in keeping the Institute running while a new Chair was being sought.
We would also like to welcome Robyn Kelly (Secretary) and Sally Siggins (Ordinary Member) and thank them for joining the IAI Board. Former Chair, James Kyle is also to stay on as Ordinary Member, to assure a smooth transition and we thank him for this. The Board also completed a day of Corporate Governance training on the 11th of June.
